USS Slater

We see lots of barges going up and down the Hudson River (filled with trash, gravel, or any number of things!) but seeing the USS Slater was by far the coolest!  The USS Slater was a WWII destroyer escort.  It is the last destroyer escort afloat in the US.  She was pushed by two tug boats and it was quite a sight to see!!  They made their way from New York City to Albany where there is a museum.
