Zayvion Sugar Crash

What happens when an active child comes off their sugar high??? The sugar crash...literally.

Halloween weekend with boys

Caught in the act! Z raking leaves...we will use this in the future to get him to rake!
Z in a box...why did we buy them toys?!?!
M playing guitar in a box
M and C on a ride at the church's Halloween party
Mark getting a check up by the boys...they were kind for a few shots and then it got a little rough!

Halloween

Z was Winnie the Pooh and M was a racecar driver.
He was a pretty cute Pooh bear!
M was very serious most of the weekend...but he's still a cute racecar driver!

Vivian's trip to Kansas

Mark playing Box Ball
Trying my hand at Box Ball...I did better than Mark!
Vivian did the best...she's been practicing I think!
This Box Ball court was in the basement of the Seelye Mansion in Abilene, KS. It looked like bowling but was made entirely of wood and the "pins" were set back up by hand. The balls were also made of wood.
The Seelye Mansion. It had 11 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 5 phones and a bowling alley. It was amazing to see and in great condition! Mr. Seelye was a medicine man of sorts...he was famous for Wasa-Tusa. It was an elixir made of 75% alcohol and used for "curing" many things in people and livestock!

Vivian (Mark's mom) came to visit us in our new home. She spent a week with us and we took her to see all the sights :) We took her to see a mansion, Dwight D. Eisenhower's home and museum, Fort Riley, and Manhattan. It was very nice to have guests and can't wait for more!

This is the view from the front door
View from the hallway

The boys room

Their closet
Bookcase, table and dresser

Bunk bed and most of the new bedding. We decided to go with a camping theme for their room (which also means that we will have to go real camping when Mark gets home too). We have ordered some artwork for the walls and then we are done! We are very happy with how it looks and hope the boys will like it too!

More gifts from the shower!

We got a Lion King book from Nicole Amundson and Dan Churchill. We also received a Target gift card from them! Nic knows how much I love the Lion King!

Grandma and Grandpa Haseman are doing a great job at spoiling the boys! They are going to love the train table and books!

We got these books from Uncle Charles and Aunt Debbie. They are already placed on the bookshelf waiting for someone to read them!

Aunt Ruth also got the boys a Cars table and chairs. They are absolutely going to love it!!

We received two stools, a playdoh set, and a play campsite set from Janelle and Justin Hungerford. The play campsite will go great with the boys' room decor!

We also received a Target gift card from Jack and Jackie Morrison. We plan to put this towards getting the boys quilts to match their room decor.

Thanks again to everyone, you're spoiling them already!

On October 3, 2009 we moved into our new home in Chapman, KS. We are about 20 mins west of Fort Riley, KS and about 2 hours from Kansas City. We love the new house and are finally getting settled! Please forgive the mess and boxes in some of these pictures!
