More giggles!

Baby giggles!

One of my favorite sounds!!

Bouncer time

Little H LOVES her bouncer!  She has a great vantage point to see what her siblings are doing.  She's a little shorty so we give her a little assistance with a stool :)

Sling revisions

Since we have trouble keeping the sling on our little troublemaker we have had to become creative!  We've been using a baby burp rag and tying in around her to help prevent her arm from moving.  It works about 50% of the time...she's a little Houdini!!!

Sling trouble...

We kept Maddy home from school today so that she could let her collar bone heal a little.  Well it's hard to keep her down!!  She is supposed to wear a sling while she is awake...but this is what it looks like after about 2 seconds on her body!  I think I readjusted it about a million times today!  You would never guess she was injured just by looking at her!!

1st broken bone

Yesterday the family spent the afternoon at a vegetable themed playground.  Maddy was playing in a "head of lettuce" that spun around exactly like a merry-go-round.  The "head of lettuce" also had sides on it, so it was safer, right?  Wrong!  Maddy tried jumping out while the head of lettuce was in motion and went flying out and landed on her shoulder.  We decided to give it the night and see how she felt in the morning.  Well, she told us her shoulder still hurt so Maddy and daddy took a nice little day trip to the ER.  Above is a picture of Maddy in her patient gown; it was so long that we had to tie the excess around her waist like a Japanese Kimono!

Well it's official: the Haseman Clan has its first broken bone.  Heather and I weren't the least bit surprised that the first broken bone would come from Maddy.  As the doctor put it today: "she has a heinous disregard for her own personal safety."  We agree!  Maybe she'll slow down now!  ...maybe...but I doubt it.  Just another day with the Hasemans!

Between rain storms

It has been raining for 4 days straight (I know we shouldn't complain because at least it's not snow!!) and we were starting to go a little stir crazy in the house.  So we found this brand new park and played for a few hours!!  The kids had a blast and mom and dad got to relax (well a little bit anyway!)
