Hadley- August

 Such a happy girl :)
 Playing outside
Who needs toys?  These curtain rods will do!
She looks so grown up in this picture!
 Sisters!
Toy boxes are for playing in...right?!?!

Where do you carry your toy when you want to crawl?  In your mouth!

She always has something in her mouth

 Her favorite thing...the dishwasher!!
 9 months old this month!
 Mommy is so funny

This is how we keep her busy when we are cooking dinner.  She is very good at unloading this entire cabinet...now we need to teach her how to clean up!

Do you notice the Ninja Turtle hanging from her shirt?

Playing at the park (you can almost see her two bottom teeth in this picture)

Daddy likes to play dress up with the baby!
 She loves bathtime!!

Playing at the park.  She's learned how to climb stairs
While we eat dinner Hadley unloads the puzzles...

Go Black Knights!!

Bus Orientation

For the first time in our kids school careers they get to ride the bus!  They are VERY excited (for now!)  Since Sophia is going into Kindergarten they had a bus orientation day today so the new kindergartners can learn how to safely ride the bus.  The bus picked her up and took her to the school then dropped her back off.  She was so EXCITED and quite the big girl!
Sophia (in orange in the front row) listening to Dr. Lamb, the principal
Lining up to get back on the bus (she's the kid that is 6 inches shorter than her peers!)
Getting off the bus.  Can't believe she will be off to kindergarten next week!!

Hadley's 9 month picture

As you can see the baby and the cat aren't cooperating much with pictures these days!  Hadley is on the MOVE!  She is a fast crawler and pulls herself up on everything.  We are certain she will be taking steps any day now.  She weighs in at a tiny 16 lbs and is 28 inches long.  She's tiny...but strong :)  She is such a happy baby and she LOVES her mama!  She's also pretty fond of daddy and her crazy siblings.  The pets also bring happy smiles to her face.  We love her so much!!

Mark's first day of school

Mark wasn't able to get away from the obligatory first day of school picture!
So...how did his first day go?

It went well!  I taught two classes on one dimensional motion.  Not the most exciting class in the world, but I enjoyed asking the cadets to do a problem on their chalkboards that didn't have any math.  They were begging for numbers, but it was a thinking problem.  Most of them didn't get it right, but as I circulated and gave them some hints I got to see lightbulbs lighting above their heads!  Want to know the question I asked?  I'll email it if you ask :)

I can't wait to talk about topics that are actually interesting!!

Football day at Michie Stadium

On our way down to Michie Stadium.  We actually were excited to see the football players even though we don't look like it!

 We are on the field!
The Black Knight football players came out and played catch with the kids and signed autographs.  Pretty neat stuff!

 Getting autographs

Shane having a very intellectual conversation with a Black Knight player about the bounce house :)
