Surgery

We were scheduled to have S's adenoids removed today, but after they had him on the table they decided he also needed to have his tonsils out.

He had no clue what was going to happen to him!

He was charming all the nurses :)

He was pretending to take a nap (one of our favorite things to pretend in our house!)

He did well during the surgery and was a trooper after. He was having a hard time keeping his oxygen up so they kept us until they could figure it out. It was a long day!

Poor little man is glad to be home...but he doesn't look too happy to be alive!

We know he isn't feeling well when he sits in a chair in front of the tv and doesn't move for a few hours :) Sister had to join him with her blanket and pillow and bear...monkey see, monkey do!

I put hearts on the big boys' doors with things that dad and I loved/liked about them. It was a really good thing for me to do (especially for M). I have a really hard time loving M and he gets a lot of negatives from me so this was a bit of a challenge, but I think our love came out. Overall it was a good Valentine's Day in Kansas!

Play-doh entertains everyone!

There aren't many activities that can entertain 4 of our 5 kids...but Play-doh is one of them!! We played for an hour today and the kids all had a blast:)

Mark got pied!

Mark's company had a Pie to the Face fundraiser tonight for the FRG. He was lucky enough to get pied twice...once by his 1st Sergeant and once by one of his Lieutenants. They raised a ton of money and we got to see daddy pied!!
