It just got real!

Our IVF medicine arrived today :)  It just got real!!  We will begin giving me injections next Wednesday (March 5) and we shall see what happens!

 Don't you have medicine sitting in your fridge?

Let's hope Mark was listening when we were given instructions (and let's hope he has gentle hands!!!) 

Basketball

M played basketball with the YMCA this winter and he loved it.  He has played a few times in the past, but he learned a lot this season and really improved!

Lego Challenge

We challenged the boys to make a food item out of legos...can you guess what they made?

Saturday bike ride

We decided to rent a surrey (insert giant bike where mom and dad do all the work!) today and bike along a path alongside the ocean.

 We had hoped that M and Z could reach the pedals and help a little...but that was a no go (well M could reach but he was NO help and complained the whole time)

 Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we were quite the spectacle on the path...with many stares and comments.  Apparently not many families of 7 go bike riding on one bike! (you can also see S's head where she crashed and burned the other day when we were leaving the beach...she loves to run EVERYWHERE but is usually falling on her hands, knees, or now face...trying to teach  her to slow down a bit!)

This was at the turn around spot...I am smiling, but was hurting and barely breathing!  I am going to be hurting tomorrow and perhaps we will take a break from surrey riding until a few more kids can pedal!!

Santa Cruz Boardwalk

On Sunday we spent the afternoon at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.  It was crazy loud and there were a ton of people, but the kids loved riding the rides!  For most of our kids this was their first time on rides.  Mark and I were exhausted and now we are a little concerned about the trip to Disney (if anyone wants to go with us and help we would be truly appreciative!!)
