Car ride to Denver, CO

We set out for Denver, CO on Sunday, March 14 to see Mimi and Papa and all the aunts, uncles, and cousins on the Haseman side of the family. It was a 7 hour drive and the boys did remarkably well! We only stopped for potty breaks because I had to go (and I had to force the boys to go when we stopped...) and we only had 2 meltdowns (Z...not me!). All in all it was a good first roadtrip (although I don't plan on anymore until Mark is home!!)

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Chapman is the home of the fighting Irish so St. Patrick's Day is a big deal! We got all bundled up for the parade and stood out in the rain for 15 mins...but the boys loved it!

We always love to see military people marching:) This was one of the favorites in the parade today! We miss you daddy!!!

Are you looking at me?! We got to see the lions twice...the second time was snack time and the zookeeper was there. They were really close and making all sorts of weird and scary noises...pretty cool to see them up close though!

Z's favorite animal...a llama. We read a series of books about Llama Llama so that is what he calls them...and he always looks for Mama Llama:)
